Fantastic Voyage: Final Animatic(Narration/Sound/Credits)
animatic_b&w_sound_finalF from Sam Avery on Vimeo.
Here is my final Animatic, I added an end credit to represent the help for my animatic but also so that the ending was not so sudden and flowed slightly better.
The reason it is in all black and white was to help with time management, I am going to do a colour version for my final animation.

Here is my final animatic, there is still room for last minute corrections, but I feel I am pretty much there.
Was not sure if I had to add a credit slide, so feedback would be helpful if this is needed to be done.

Fantastic Voyage: Animatic Rough Design #3
animatic_b&w_3(rough) from Sam Avery on Vimeo.
Further development of my animatic, here I have made the second bacteria which is the shield bacteria.
some shots I feel drag on to long so I am going to go back and experiment with the timing.

Fantastic Voyage: Animatic Rough Design #2

Here I carried on with the rough animatic, I still need to add more scenes as there is two more bacteria to add, I am also going to add narration to explain the story.

Fantastic Voyage: Animatic Rough Design
animatic_b&w_(rough) from Sam Avery on Vimeo.
In Jordan's lesson today, He taught us how to make an animatic in Photoshop, with knowing this, I started a rough animatic, which I will go back to and develop further/edit.

Fantastic Voyage: Concept #4
For this design I made the antibiotics have a floating/flying motion, I also made it so the area in which either character is in, the surroundings contribute to their characteristics, such as the bacteria produces lethal spikes in the ground, rather than the antibiotic produces neutralising crystals that help protect and repair the body.
Fantastic Voyage: Bacteria evolution
I am thinking of perhaps making two more but for now I am happy with having three to work with.
the first stage I made a simple, pretty useless bacteria, the second stage the bacteria has developed a shield which is the spikes. and the final bacteria is fully evolved with strong attacks, shields and overall a strong bacteria.
Fantastic Voyage: Antibiotics #4
Here is another design for my antibiotics, I thought I would make the design simple, I also added a tank on the back which could be seen as the ammunition to fight the bacteria.

Fantastic Voyage: Character Design: Antibiotics #3
From my feedback I have decided to remove the legs of my antibiotic. I also did some simple designs so that the character did not come across as over powering.
I have not fully decided on the colours of my antibiotic, I need to look into what colours work. At the moment I am liking the white and red, but Feel that there needs to be more than just two colours on my character design.

Fantastic Voyage: Research
So For my research I looked into a few games to get the idea around my animation:
Fantastic Voyage: Character Design #3
For these designs, I went back and decided to make my antibiotic and bacteria a bit more child friendly and cute so to speak, I loved the idea of a more harmless and child like antibiotic, for the bacteria I tried to make the design more child friendly, but overall not too sure if I am there yet, so I will be going back and experiment more with the bacteria designs.
Feedback would be appreciated.
I would like to know if this style works or if I should go back to my previous design and further develop that design.
I am also not to sure if my antibiotic comes across as non harmful ( couldn't imagine going against the bacteria ) If this is the case I may consider using this design for my Cells instead.
Bacteria Designs ( white Background )
From the feedback I was given, I decided to change my background to white so that, my characters were clearer to see.

Fantastic Voyage: Character Design: Bacteria
From the thumbnails I had produced previously, I decided on my favourite three and developed them further, I added colour and characteristics to my bacteria.
Fantastic Voyage: concept Art #2
Here Was a small concept of what I though the inside battle of the body would be like, I tried to give the effect that what ever the bacteria touched became effective, not to sure if it just looks like that just yet, I am going to looking into making my structures look like they are dying once touched by the bacteria.
Fantastic Voyage: concept art #1
So this concept was a very quick idea that I had made on day one of the project, I thought I should uploaded it, just to show my idea development in my work.
